Hello, I'm Cal. Autumn's Dad. This is a Father, Daughter blog. We started this blog so Autumn can chase her dream. To one day open her own Bakery. We are both learning many new things, and that's what I want from this blog. To be a learning experience for the both of us. That's why we chose the selves of books for our border. To symbolize learning.
At a very young age Autumn displayed she was an entrepreneur. Always wanting to earn money. Earn the key word. It is rare that she asks for just money. Most the time it's, "what can I do to earn money?". I have always admired that about her. So I have always tried to encourage it. We started an E-Bay shop selling Legos when she was 7. Becoming Top Rated Sellers. But it took up too much time. It was becoming more work then fun. so we quit. Since she was 8 she been having lemonade sales. And she still hold 2 or 3 each summer. Now her dream is to be a Baker and open her own Bakery. For 2 years and counting she has been saving money she earned for her dream.
Seeing that Autumn is actively chasing this dream and that it's not a phase, I support and help her. As any parent would do. For a while we been taking order's for Autumn to bake on the weekends. Then I got the Idea for this blog. I told Autumn that she can still bake as much as she wants. But now she does not have to bake to fill orders unless she wants to. That she could bake for fun and we could blog about it. And that's how this blog was born.
Now we are a team, Autumn and I. Her job tell her story as she chases her dream. My job, support her in any way. Shes got a story, and Daddy tells it for her.
As we go along with this blog. We not only want to chase Autumn's Dream. We also want inspire kids and adults too. Not just to bake. But chase your dreams. My dream is to one day build and live in a tiny home. I'm chasing it. We hope you are chasing yours too.
We are also members to some referral and ambassador programs. We do not work for or represent any of the programs found in this blog. We do however use them personally. So we promote them. If you take part in any of these programs, usually we both get a little bonus.
All money made from this blog will go to Autumn's Bakery Fund. This fund will go to whatever is needed to make Autumn's dream come true. Be it baking lessons, new baking cookware and tools or anything else that will help her dream come true.
